Triplet Freemasons – Lafayette No. 3

While working on the scanning project of “Oregon Freemason Periodicals” I came across this wonderful item of Masonic History.  This is even more important for my lodge of Union No. 3 in McMinnville Or.   Lafayette No. 3 consolidated with Lafayette No. 3 in the 1990’s.

This is a perfect example of the hidden and forgotten histories that are hidden within our old books, periodicals and records within our lodge and Grand Lodge archives.

What is hiding in your archives?

With the recent posting of the new project that the MWB Robert M. Richmond Memorial Library and Museum has begun with the scanning of all available Oregon Mason / Oregon Freemason Magazines it has become necessary to share the evolution of this wonderful magazine.

WB Michael Robinson wrote a wonderful paper on this topic a few years ago.  His paper gives all of the history in one source.
