GLO Library and Museum Archives

The MWB Robert M. Richmond Memorial Library and Museum was blessed with an internal environmentally controlled archive room for the protection and long term care of our jurisdictions collective history.

The evolution of this Archive Room has been very trying at times starting in 2018 when the entire collection of the Grand Lodge of Oregon Library and Museum was moved from its previous home in the Grand Lodge of Oregon’s Administration building.

2019 was dedicated to getting all of the library books on the shelves with new labeling.

2020-2021 was almost entirely used to organize the historical collection within the Archive Room in a way that can be easily used for researchers in the future.

In 2022 light is beginning to be seen at the end of the dark tunnel of massive amount of boxes that were stacked high in every corner possible.

Enjoy the pictures.

Grand Lodge of Oregon – Library and Museum (Childrens Cottage)

The evolution of the Grand Lodge of Oregon A. F. and A. M. Library and Museum is a lengthy story for a future researcher to take on as a project.

Added are pictures of the library and museum of the GLO when it was located within the Children’s Cottage of the Old Masonic and Easter Start Home in Forest Grove.

No one back then would have ever thought that the current MWB RMR Memorial Library and Museum would have ever been possible.
